“You’ve got to follow your passion. You’ve got to figure out what it is you love—who you really are. And have the courage to do that. I believe that the only courage anybody ever needs is the courage to follow your own dreams.”—Oprah Winfrey (via kari-shma)
I just lost my aunt whom i was really close with. She practically raised me after my dads car accident when i was 6 moths & my mom had to take care of him, so she offered to take care of me. I was always really close with her, closer than my mom. She lived in Mexico & i wouldnt really see her that much but we talkedeveryday. She passed away when we were in Spain visiting my Grandparents. Its bear.y been a year but i feel like if it was just yesterday. How did you deal w/ your aunts passing?
I completely understand where you are coming from, when my aunt passed it was like I lost a part of myself. For awhile I cried often but then I started to look at things from a different point of view. And I started to notice all of the things I learned from her and her life and try my best to live a life everyday that I know he would be proud of.
“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land, there is no other life but this.”—Henry David Thoreau (via mentaljig)
